Inner Kakheti, Sighnaghi district: the south-eastern plain of the Gombori range in the eastern part of the Alazani's right bank, with vineyards at 350–550 m. The zone covers Tibaani, Kvemo Machkhaani, Jugaani and part of Dzveli Anaga. Rkatsiteli is the main variety, with up to 15 per cent of Mtsvane Kakhuri and Khikhvi allowed; the wine is amber dry, with at least twelve per cent alcohol.

Tibaani is a dry white/amber PDO from the village of Tibaani in the Signagi municipality of Kakheti, made from Rkatsiteli, traditionally vinified in qvevri. It is a dry appellation with no notable authenticity concern; the wine should be Rkatsiteli from the registered Tibaani zone.
