Georgian Royal Wine

Kvareli winery founded in 2011 by winemaker Revaz Karalashvili and his partner Giuli Kupreishvili. The Karalashvili family has worked in wine for five generations; the winemaker is Revaz's father Tamaz, a sommelier in the trade since 1968. The plant built in 2020 processes about 3 million kg of grapes a season, holds 2 million litres and includes a buried qvevri cellar of 26,200 litres and French oak barrels. Grapes come from the company's own vineyards and from partner farmers, 220 hectares in all; the wine goes to some twenty countries.
