Tetra

On Georgian labels Tetra almost always stands for Tsulukidzis Tetra, also called Rachuli Tetra — a white variety from Racha, grown mainly in the Ambrolauri and Tsageri districts and recommended by Georgian regulations for the Racha zone. It is made both as a dry white and as a naturally semi-sweet wine, and gives its best on slopes with calcareous clay soils. The bare name Tetra also belongs to an unrelated white variety from Adjara.
