Tamaris Vazi

Tamaris Vazi — 'Tamar's vine' — is a red variety found in Meskheti and recommended by Georgian regulations for that zone. Its berries are dark blue, almost black, with uncoloured juice; the grape ripens in the second half of October with very high acidity and is used for dry red wine.
