Orbeluri Ojaleshi

Orbeluri Ojaleshi, or simply Orbeluri, is a red variety from Lechkhumi, grown in small plots in villages of the Tsageri district such as Orbeli and Lajana, and recommended by Georgian regulations for Lechkhumi. It is thought to have been brought from Samegrelo and named after the village where it first spread, but ampelographers regard it as unrelated to the Ojaleshi of Samegrelo. It gives well-coloured, light dry and naturally semi-sweet reds.
