Muscat

Muscat is the name of a large family of related varieties rather than of a single grape; its members share a pronounced grapey, floral aroma. The best-known of them, Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains, is of Greek origin according to VIVC. A Georgian label that says only 'Muscat' does not specify which member of the family was used; it appears both in varietal wines and in blends with Rkatsiteli, Kisi or Saperavi.
