Isabella

Isabella is not a Vitis vinifera variety but an American hybrid of Vitis labrusca with a vinifera grape; VIVC records it under the synonym Odessa, and in Georgia it is known as Adesa. Being a hybrid, it falls outside Georgia's official list of varieties permitted for viticulture, which covers only Vitis vinifera. Its wines have the strawberry-like aroma typical of labrusca.
