Wineries write here to correct a record or dispute their category. Readers write here when a price, a medal or a grape is wrong. It is one form and one queue, and a person reads every message.

What happens next
- 1A person reads itEvery message is read by a person. Name the record it concerns — it saves a round of questions.
- 2We check the facts, not the toneThe claim is put next to the sources we hold. Where both versions survive, both stay in the base with their own sources and dates, and the higher-priority source wins.
- 3The record changes, or it does notA corrected fact is recorded with its source; the previous statement is not erased but stays in the history as superseded. A revised category is written as a new line in the producer's classification history, with the date and the edition of the rules.
- 4You hear back when there is an outcomeWe answer when there is something to say: a corrected record, a revised category, or a reasoned refusal. There is no automatic reply to say a message arrived.
What a message cannot do
A review deadline
We will not publish a time we cannot guarantee. The rule is what we promise, not a date.
Erasing the history
A superseded statement is not deleted: it stays in the history, marked as replaced, with its source and date.
Buying a verdict
A category, the weight of an award or a place in a collection cannot be bought. The right of reply is free.
For wineries
A document persuades. Correspondence does not.
The category is recomputed from facts, so anything that supports a fact is worth naming. You do not have to send the document itself — tell us which one it is, and we will ask for it.
- A land title or a vineyard lease, for a claim about your own grapes
- Documents for your production site, if the category says we could not find one
- Registration data, if the legal identity on the record is wrong
- A dated page of your own website, if the fact comes from what you publish
- The competition's protocol, if a medal is recorded with the wrong year, medal or wine
The right of reply
A winery can dispute a single fact or its category as a whole. It costs nothing.
A person checks the facts against the sources and recomputes the classification; every change stays in the classification history with its date and the edition of the rules it was decided under.

Every record already states what we hold and where it came from. A message is easier to act on when it points at one of them.

Prices, facts, awards and category decisions are fingerprinted every day. Check by its identifier that a record has not been changed since.
