The middle Alazani: the gentle apron of Tsiv-Gombori sloping eastwards, with vineyards at 500–600 m. The vineyards of Mukuzani adjoin the zone from the east. It covers Vazisubani, Kalauri, Shashiani and Vachnadziani. Rkatsiteli is the main variety, with up to 15 per cent of Mtsvane Kakhuri allowed; the wine is white dry.

Vazisubani is a dry white PDO from the village of Vazisubani in the Gurjaani municipality of Kakheti, based on a Rkatsiteli-Mtsvane blend. It is a dry appellation whose supply broadly matches the zone, with no notable authenticity concern; the wine should come from the registered Vazisubani zone.
