A narrow zone in the middle Alazani: the north-eastern slopes of Tsiv-Gombori between the Tbilisi–Telavi railway and the Alazani itself, closed from the south-east by the Vantiskhevi gorge; vineyards at 350–600 m. One variety only, and not a local one — Cabernet Sauvignon; the wine is red dry. The yield is capped at ten tonnes per hectare.
