Shida Kartli, Kaspi district: both banks of the Mtkvari, with vineyards at 500–800 m. The zone covers seventeen villages, among them Okami, Samtavisi, Metekhi and Kavtiskhevi. The white is made from Chinuri and Goruli Mtsvane, the red from Shavkapito. The yield is capped at eight tonnes per hectare.

Okami is a PDO from the village of Okami in Shida (Inner) Kartli, covering dry white/amber and red wines from Kartlian varieties such as Chinuri, Goruli Mtsvane and Shavkapito. It is a small, newer Kartli appellation with no notable authenticity concern; the wine should come from the registered Okami zone.
